What is DiveBuddy Pro?
DiveBuddy Pro is an app for divers: digital logbook, dive record, dive tools, Explorer with dive sites and pros, community, DiveSteps travel, marketplace, magazine and media editing in the Studio.
Who is the app for?
For recreational and technical divers, for travellers and for pros such as dive centres, guides and partners who want to make profiles, offers, events and trips visible.
Does it work partly offline?
Many contents can be captured and viewed locally on the device. Features such as sign-in, cloud sync, community, Explorer content, sharing and purchases require an internet connection. DiveBuddy Pro is not a purely offline app.
How is data synchronised?
With an account, content can be synchronised through the cloud infrastructure (Supabase) so it stays available on your devices. Details are in the privacy policy.
Can I share content publicly?
Yes, but only deliberately: share links of the form /s/… only show content you explicitly shared in the app. Revoked shares become unavailable immediately.
How do I delete my account?
In the app under “Account & security” or by e-mail to support. The account deletion page describes both routes in detail.
Where do I manage purchases and subscriptions?
Purchases and subscriptions run through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are managed and cancelled in your store account. Prices are shown by the respective store.
Does the app replace training or a dive computer?
No. DiveBuddy Pro is not a training organisation, does not issue certifications and replaces neither dive training nor a certified dive computer. Certification stays with recognised training organisations.
